MATAASNAKAHOY-CANADIAN BLOGSITE.
Mataasnakahoy literally means "Tall Tree". Mataasnakahoy is a municipality in Batangas, Philippines. It was created as a town on January 1, 1932. MKAHOY, as it is fondly called, has 16 barangays, population of about 40,000 and total land area of 2,376hectares. Mataasnakahoy is known for its cool climate due to its high elevation 379 metres (1,240 ft). MKAHOY is one of the lakeside towns of Taal Lake and is about 100 km South of Manila.

At the back of Nely/Gord's house, is a sprawling space where you'll find a tennis court, lagoon, plant, fruit and flower gardens and a short trail going around the property.

There was Karaoke and a mini concert by Jeff's band, Theda's son.
Other kids were swimming, playing video games, playing basketball and tennis.
Ladies were doing their favorite pastime, updating themselves on "current events ".

I met my pinsan Betty Pesigan whom I've never met before even in Mkahoy.
I'm sure there are a lot of stories to tell. We'll have to devote a few pages for it.

Mini Reunion
Do you know that Kherlene arrived in Toronto just weeks ago?
At the reunion, she met her Elementary School Teacher Mrs. Tisbe, wife of Konsehal Mario Tisbe, visiting from Modesto, CA. Kherlene is also with Julie Gonzales, a neighbor in Bontog.

Reunion was a huge success!
